Working on the doors

Worked this door with RustBGone this morning. Front and back. See the difference.....the outer skin down to bare metal.

Deconstruction continues

Today I removed the front and rear calipers that will need re manufacturing. Also removed the gas and brake lines. The PO had the battery installed on tr trunk, an idea I'm not completely opposed to. 

Removing everything getting ready for blasting underneath. I'm leaving it a roller but everything is coming off. I can't wait to start putting back together thou!

Checking the engine further

After the cleaning I took the valve cover and manifold off.

"Shade tree restorer" at work

Here's more from the "shade tree restorer" cover up. Good metal over bad metal....I hope the PO didn't pay for this! 

Floors

Ok...the PO had a "shade tree restore" who welded a flat piece of sheet metal over the original pan on the driver rear floor....unimaginable! Well, grinded the spot welds down and poped it out. The floor underneath definately needs changing except this time its going to be done right.

Bought this engine adapter from an ALFABB member; really nice!

Got up early and lifted the engine. 

Playing around...can't wait to drive this car!
